Buying Bamboo Plants.

The best place to start looking for your new Bamboo plants is an online search where you will find lots of growers and information. Just visit your favourite search engine (we prefer to use Google) and type in exactly what you want to search for in the search box e.g. “buy screening Bamboo plants”.

The Google results page will return a list of bamboo websites for you to review. We have noted that people who conduct their own research first on various Bamboo websites are less inclined to haggle over prices when making enquiries at our wholesale nursery as they have been able to make their own price comparisons and are satisfied that we offer great value for our bamboo plants.

The next thing to do is find and review any comments others have made about various growers, plants and customer service. Unfortunately, some people have had negative experiences when buying Bamboo plants online, so it is a good idea to look for positive references and to see how long the business has been operating to ensure you are dealing with a reputable bamboo supplier.

Once you are happy that you have found a reputable grower or bamboo nursery, you can request a quote for the plants you are interested in. In lodging your quote request, you will be required to identify the species, pot size, e.g. 200mm pots and preferred delivery address to facilitate the correct pricing with freight for delivery to your address. Reputable Bamboo wholesalers will have delivery arrangements in place to ensure that trucks make deliveries up to three times a week and therefore you would be able to expect that your plants would be delivered within a few days of making your order.

You will find that when dealing with a wholesale bamboo nursery, minimum quantity orders will apply as freight is simply not viable for a small number of plants.

Experienced transport companies are used by Bamboo nurseries and growers to ensure plants are delivered in good condition. The wholesale nursery will treat plants with wetting agents and thoroughly watered prior to transport to make sure the bamboo plants are delivered in a healthy condition.
