Printing and Photocpying
Justin at the Star Club Copycentre has just installed the latest Fuji Xerox 700 Digital Color Press printer. This is no ordinary photocopier / printer. This is an amazing piece of technology that can scan and print A3 Photo quality paper and produce image quality at 2400 x 2400 dpi resolution - this is true photo quality production at A3 size (up to an amazing 15 pages per minute).
I can't begin to explain how good the quality of the print looks. To my eye, it is like looking at a high quality photograph except that it is A3 in size - truly amazing. The 700 Digital Color Press provides smooth colour sweeps, sharp, high-resolution photographs, crisp, clean text, outstanding gradients and fine detail - all due to the 2400 dpi resolution capability which is the highest resolution available. The print output is a smooth, offset-like matte finish with outstanding shadow details and superior halftones due to the new Fuji Xerox Emulsion Aggregate (EA) toner. The Color Press also has excellent front - to - back registration providing superior quality for postcards, business cards, catalogues, and all two-sided work.
Fuji Xerox Color Press Features
- 3 Standard Paper Trays - Along with the bypass tray, these hold up to 1,900 sheets of paper (more than enough for a lengthy print run)
- Optional Oversized High Capacity Feeder - For larger stocks, robust production feeders holding 2,000 to 4,000 sheets of coated/uncoated media are available
- Optional A4 High Capacity Feeder - holds 2,000 sheets of A4 paper
- Image Quality - 2400 x 2400 dpi resolution. The self cleaning corotron assembly offers improved quality and productivity
- Front to Back Registration - Contact image sensor provide adjustments to deliver 1mm front to back registration
- Document Handler - Holds up to A3 originals: Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) reliable scans two-sided originals automatically
- User Interface - Easier to use offering greater flexibility and more operator information and control over critical issues such as alignment and registration. The Fuji Xerox 700 Digital Color Press will also create and store custom paper profiles for repeated use.
- Load-While-Run-Toner. - Provides longer print runs and enhances productivity. Two black toner Smart Kit replaceable units keep replenishment intervention to a minimum and maximises productivity
- Paper Path - Straight simple paper path increases reliability
- Smart Decurler Module - Outstanding productivity is provided by the robust post-fuser decurler with two rollers and bars ensuring that printed sheets are flat. The series of smart decurlers take into consideration the side, the toner coverage and the humidity and applies the most appropriate pressure to ensure the flattest output
- Optional Finishers - The Fuji Xerox 700 Digital color press produces more revenue generating applications including coated paper in-line with a suite of optional finishers including Offset Catch Tray, Advanced Finisher, light production finisher with booklet maker and high capacity stacker.
Justin tells me he can now produce full colour 60 page A4 booklets and manuals in a fraction of the time that would have been required previously.
If you are looking for high quality printing at very good prices, I can highly recommend that you drop into the Star Club Copy centre and see the amazing quality that the Fuji Xerox 700 Digital Color Press produces.
