Curra Christmas Lights
Published November 7th, 2007 in Gympie
Fill your soul with joy this Christmas - come & see one of AUSTRALIA’S Largest Animated Christmas Lights Displays with 100,000 bulbs at Curra, just north of Gympie in Cooloola Shire.
Curra Christmas gives you a host of animated sequences, static silhouettes and other lighting displays including a 40ft Mega Tree and 40ft Church, animated 3D flying reindeer, magical Santa sequences and flying angels – to name but a few of the highlights, spread over nearly 2 acres!
Tune in to our radio station – 96.5FM – watch for the signs as you drive out (there is a limited transmission radius!) – listen to Christmas jingles and sing along!
Park your car and walk up – meet the owners, get some pointers, and experience the true magic of Christmas. You can also make a donation to Little Haven Palliative Care (Gympie’s Cancer and Respite Support Centre) – the chosen charity, and one which is probably very close to many of your hearts.
Visit Curra Christmas Lights online at www.currachristmas.com.au - email Santa, get directions, and read about why the owners put on this fabulous display! Trust us – it’s worth the drive!
Curra Christmas Lights are having a grand “Switching On” on 1 December, 2007 from dusk and everyone is welcome – check the website regularly for updates!
